Certified Chiropractic Sports Physicians and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists
We know the importance you put on your physical activity, whether that’s competing, beating your own time, maximizing your abilities, or simply making it to the finish line. Whatever the goal, you must trust those who are helping you achieve it.
At Better Chiropractic, we have the physicians and the solutions you’re looking for.
What Is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP)?
To become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), doctors must attend a minimum of 100 hours of a 120-hour postgraduate CCSP program.
The courses are designed to help the physician obtain a greater awareness of the responsibilities of a sports physician, including, but not limited to:
- The ability to instruct athletes in rehabilitative procedures
- The ability to instruct athletic training principles
- The ability to evaluate and treat typical sports and recreational injuries
- The ability to treat athletes in emergency situations
Sports medicine and the care of a CCSP offer many benefits to the patient, including working with injured athletes to promote healing, helping return the injured area to its normal function, and guidance on preventing further damage.
What Is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)?
A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) is a professional who applies scientific knowledge to the training of athletes.
The goal of the CSCS is to improve athletic performance. CSCS professionals conduct sport-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs, and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention.
As trained CSCS professionals, the Better Chiropractic team works with all types of athletes. We can assist with developing training and conditioning programs for entire teams, or we can help individual patients reach their full potential as athletes.
We’re invested in your achievement, which makes us invested in your health. You can count on us to keep you safe, help you heal, and get your body optimized. Let’s get going.
